CA Foundation

The Gateway (After 12th) — 4 Papers | 400 Marks

Register after Class X. After passing 12th, appear for the Foundation exam. It tests your basics in Accounting, Law, Maths & Economics. Exams held 3 times a year.

STEP 028-12 months study

CA Intermediate

Building Expertise — 6 Papers (2 Groups) | 600 Marks

After Foundation, register for Intermediate. Study advanced subjects like Taxation, Auditing & Cost Accounting. Must also complete ICITSS (IT & Soft Skills Training).

STEP 032 years

Practical Training (Articleship)

Real-World Experience — Work under a practising CA

After clearing both groups of Intermediate, start 2 years of Articleship under a practising CA. Get hands-on experience in auditing, taxation, accounting & finance. Earn a monthly stipend too.

Articleship Highlights:

  • • Work at a CA firm — learn auditing, tax filing, accounting in real companies
  • • Earn a monthly stipend of Rs. 8,000 - 15,000 (as per ICAI norms)
  • • Must complete ICITSS (IT & Soft Skills course) and Advanced ICITSS

STEP 046-12 months study

CA Final

The Last Milestone — 6 Papers (2 Groups) | 600 Marks

Appear 6 months after completing Articleship. Master Financial Reporting, Auditing, Tax Laws & Strategic Management. Pass both groups to qualify as a CA.
